Four Hours of Sleep – Update #3

four hours of sleep

This is the third update to this post, which explains why I’m experimenting with getting only four hours of sleep per night.

Unfortunately, there isn’t anything new to update in the last week. I’ve continued the sleeping schedule and have continued to experience the benefits I expounded a week ago: heightened intuition, increased wittiness, more ease of writing, and in general, an enhanced melding of my conscious and subconscious minds.

The one significant update this week is that I’m doubting if I can stick with this sleeping schedule, just because I feel so incredibly tired for the first several hours of the day. Sleeping only four hours is a bit extreme – perhaps I’d do better sleeping five or six hours. I’m sure that comes as a big surprise to you 😉

We’ll see…

P.S. Since there’s almost nothing in this post, I figured I’d send those of you who are interested in polyphasic sleep schedules to this site to check it out.

Read the final update here.

Seth did say no more than six hours with five hours being optimal. Maybe you can try sleeping 4.5 hours, since REM is every 90 minutes. Maybe the extra 30 minutes will help.
