November Morning

A November Morning

November is the least aesthetically pleasing month of the year, at least in New England. The bright colors of October have passed and the winter snow awaits more favorable conditions. Everything is brown and gray and our uncomfortable acclimation to freezing temperatures is an almost daily chore.

Nonetheless, since we are lucky enough to live on Earth, we can still find plenty of beauty and inspiration. We just have to look a little harder and dress a little warmer.

On this fine November morning I found plenty of beauty. I wish to share some of it with you.

November Morning
An open farm and the early morning shadows.
November Morning
A happy dog. An extremely happy dog.
November Morning
No leaves means more sun and more blue skies in the forest.
November Morning
Remnants of acorns. Hopefully for the tree, the squirrels will forget where they hid some of them.

November Morning

November Morning
Some bright berries, a rare color this time of year.

November Morning
Frosty leaves.
November Morning
Dogs resting in frosty leaves.
November Morning
A dog sniffing the air.
November Morning
The sun slowly rising in order to melt the night’s frost.
November Morning
Some sad leaves wishing their tree would release them already.
November Morning
A fallen leaf caught in a branch.
November Morning
Highways, main roads, side streets, and neighborhoods. (This is worth clicking to enlarge.)
November Morning
A robin deciding what to do with his day, free as a bird.
November Morning
Some gossiping sparrows.
November Morning
The farm with its vacated gardens which are now playgrounds and dining rooms for the wildlife.

Thanks for visiting.
